THERAPY FOR MOMS ONLINE ACROSS ILLINOIS

Rediscover who you are beyond just “Mom.”

You’re juggling so many roles right now—being a mom (or preparing to become one), a partner, a daughter, a professional—that it’s been hard to find time to feel like you.

Some days, you might wonder if you’ve lost yourself along the way, swallowed up by all of the responsibilities and expectations. The mix of exhaustion, stress, and guilt can be overwhelming, leaving you frustrated or unsure of how to ask for what you need.

You may be noticing that the most important relationships in your life aren’t as close and supportive as you’d hoped they would be during this time. Instead, you’re navigating unspoken rules about what parenting “should” look like and wishing your loved ones could see things from your perspective.

MAYBE YOU’VE EXPERIENCED…

  • Anger or irritability bubbling up when you’re stressed, overtired, or feeling unsupported

  • Struggling to set boundaries with your parents, in-laws, or family when they interfere with your parenting decisions

  • Worrying about how pregnancy or a new baby might change your relationship with your partner

  • Anxious thoughts about being a “good mom” or scary, unwanted thoughts that leave you questioning yourself

  • Tension between your or your partner’s cultural traditions and the way you want to raise your child

You don’t have to feel guilty for taking care of yourself.

Let’s figure out what you need and how to get it.

My approach

Supporting you through this season of change.

Our sessions are your space to share your experiences openly and honestly, without fear of judgment—because as a mom myself, I get it. Whether you’re navigating the challenges of pregnancy, adjusting to life with a new baby, or trying to make sense of emotions like guilt or frustration, we’ll work together to understand what’s happening and find ways to help you feel more grounded.

Becoming a mom—or preparing for motherhood—can feel like a whirlwind. You might feel overjoyed and excited one moment and overwhelmed by stress, guilt, or sadness the next, and not have the time to process any of it because life is moving too quickly to slow down. In therapy together, we’ll take the time to explore these feelings and understand them on a deeper level.

We’ll also look at the relationships in your life—with your partner, family, or support system—and how they’re affecting you.

I’ll guide you in building communication and problem-solving skills that can make those connections stronger, more fulfilling, and less stressful.

And when the mom guilt rears its head, I’ll help you recognize that mistakes don’t define you and that learning how to move forward with kindness toward yourself is what’s really best for your family. Though it can probably feel like it sometimes, you don’t have to figure this out alone—we’re in this together.
